CELPIP Test Preparation
Structured coaching for the Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP-General) to maximize CRS score points.
Service Overview
The CELPIP General test is officially designated by IRCC for Canadian Permanent Residency (Express Entry) and citizenship applications. Because the entire test is completed on a computer in a single 3-hour sitting using a Canadian English accent context, preparation requires computer familiarity and specific response pacing. At AKME Patiala, our dedicated computer lab provides authentic test simulations and customized feedback on Speaking and Writing tasks.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is CELPIP easier than IELTS General?
Many candidates prefer CELPIP because it is 100% computer-based with built-in spell check for writing, completed in one sitting, and features realistic everyday Canadian communication scenarios rather than academic abstractions.
What score is required for Canadian PR?
A score of CELPIP Level 9 in each of the four components (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking) awards the highly coveted Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 9, which significantly boosts CRS points under Express Entry.
Are mock tests included in the course?
Yes, students enrolled at AKME Patiala receive access to our computer lab with multiple full-length simulated CELPIP practice exams and personalized trainer evaluations.
Is CELPIP accepted for student visas or only for Canadian PR?
CELPIP-General is officially designated by IRCC for Permanent Residency (Express Entry, PNP) and Canadian work permits, rather than study permits. For study visas, candidates generally take IELTS Academic, PTE Academic, or CAEL.
How many speaking tasks are in the CELPIP-General exam?
The CELPIP Speaking module includes 8 distinct tasks—such as Giving Advice, Talking about a Personal Experience, Describing a Scene, Making Predictions, and Expressing Opinions—completed in approximately 15 to 20 minutes via microphone.
How long does it take to receive official CELPIP results?
Official CELPIP-General scores are typically available online through your CELPIP account within 4 to 5 calendar days after your test date.
